RIFLE ASSOCIATION.

[by TELEORAPH—PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Wanganui, last night. After a spell of lovely weather, a change came yesterday. Light showers fell during the day, but at night it poured heavily. There being no communication by wire with the .range, the competitors went out as usual at 9.30, only to find that the conditions prevailing there were such that it was impossible to go on with the shooting for a time. The trench is inundated, and the force of the wind is too great to permit the large targets being hung. Everything was put off til. noon.
