Dr Hucho, the expert sent by the German Government to study agricultural and pastoral methods in the colonics, is also a passenger by the same steamer. THANKS. The Premier has rccoived a cable message from Mr Barton, cordially thanking him for tho promise to send New Zealand troops to the opening of the Fedoral Parliament, and expressing regret that campaign duties have prevented him from seeing more of the Now Zealand Federal Commission which is now in Australia. GOVERNOR OF SAMOA. Dr Solf, Governor of Samoa, loft tonight for Sydney by the Talune.
