The President of the Board of Health says that tliore is not the slightest doubt that the Antillian’s is a case of true plague. He visited the troopship, and found it infested with rats, many of which died during tlio voyage. He examined one, and found that it had undoubtedly diod of plague. Arrangements have been mado between the Board of Health and the City Council to co-operato in carrying out precautionary measures to prevent a recurrence of disoase.
