PROMINENT PASSENGERS.

' Wellington, last night. • Among the passengers by the Mokoia to-day from Sydney were Sir Walter Murton, solicitor to the British Board of Trade, and Mr John Duthie. THE TROOPS. The troopship Britannic, with the Imperial representative corps on board, sailed this afternoon for Napier, the troops being given a hearty send-off by many hundreds of peoplo gathered on the wharves. MINISTERS ON TOUR. The Hons. Seddon, Ward, and Carroll sailed for Napier in the Tiftanekai. Mr Ward goes right on to Auckland with the troops. BOWLERS FOR ENGLAND.' The projected visit of a team of New Zealand bowlers to England is assured. Among the North Islanders who will make the trip, leaving Australia in April, are Messrs Paul (New Plymouth), Benny [Wanganui), Ballinger, Reich, and Roskruge (Wellington), Dingle and Clcry (Auckland). Two other players, who will b 4 in England when the team arrives, will also take part in the games, which will be arranged on arrival.
