A Shipwreck.

NARROW ESCAPE OF THE CREW

Per Press Association. Telegraph. Copyright Adelaide, last night.

The captain of the Glenpark has reported to the Marine Board here that during the voyage a sharp look-out was being kept by two officers, as well as the lookout man. There was no indication of a rock, which was about four miles from Wedge Island, until the grinding of the ship was felt. The vessel heeled over and settled down so quickly that they had barely time to take to the boats, and were unable to save anything. They were picked up an hour after leaving the ship. The cargo consisted of 3261 tons of wheat, shipped by Messrs Wills and Co., and was insured in England.
