Fire at Waihi.

[By Telegraph—Press Association.] Waihi, last night. A big fire destroyed Tothill’s two storeyed block, including tho shops of Tanner, butcher; Conway, saddler; Anderson, bailor; Barron, chemist; Mrs Taylor, restaurant keeper; Livesay, stationer; also the offices of Clevedon and a number, of solicitors. ' , Later.-—The -following are the insurances Anderson, .£IOO in the Phoenix office; Conway, 2660 in the Imperial; Barrow, 26200 in the Victoria; Livesay, .£IOO in the Phoenix. Tamier’s butcher shop ,£450 in the North Queensland office, 26100 in the Norwich Union, £65 (engine and boiler) in the Imperial. Mrs Taylor’s property was not insured. She loses 26300 worth. The Rev. Mr Eykn loses over 26100 worth of personal property.
