MR. SEMPLE'S ITINERARY S.R ) WELLINGTON, May 23. The Minister of Works, Mr. R. Semple, will leave Wellington on June 3 for Napier and intends arriving at Gisborne on Wednesday evening. The Under-Secretary of Works. Mr. D W Coleman, is endeavouring to arrange that the Minister will receive a deputation from the Chamber of Commerce on Wednesday evening, but this depends on Mr. Semple’s time of arrival. The Minister intends to proceed to Whakatane the next day and on Friday, June fi, will explain tlie 10-ycar plan for the Pay of Plenty area, this being the last developmental plan to be discussed with local body representatives.
