Regent.—A new Btar with a magnificent voice plays opposite Nelson Eddy in ‘‘The Chocolate Soldier.” She is Rise Stevenß, ot the New York Metropolitan Opera Company. The picture brings to the screen all the popular Strauss melodies for which this musical comedy Is noted, and in their right setting, and with two superb voices, the whole makes outstanding entertainment. A piece of birthday cake will be presented to every child attending the Mickey Mouse birthday’party to-morrow morning at 10.30. Majestic.—Gay, funny, and packed with haunting melodies, "Kiss the Boys Goodbye’ heads the current programme. Mary Martin. Don Ameche, and Connie Boswell are the singing stars. The associate thriller is a crime drama, “Federal Bullets.” The serial is Gang Busters, chapter 10. An added attraction for to-morrow’s bargain matinee will be chapter 10 of “Jungle Girl,” which commences at 1.30. King’s. —“A Gentleman After Dark,” the dramatic adaptation of Richard Washburn Child’s now famous magazine story, ’A Whifl of Heliotrope,” the Edward Small production which' opened to-day at the King’s Theatre, can boast of an excellent cast. Three popular stars of the screen share the leading roles, Brian Donlevy, Miriam Hopkins and Preston Foster. Brian Donlevy plays the title role, a sympathetic one for the first time in his career, even though it is that of a jewel thief.
