BIG CLAIMS FOR DEBT
GERMAN FREIGHTER FUEL OIL SUPPLIED (Heed. Dec. 27. 3 p.m.) MIAMI, Dec. 26. The Asiatic Petroleum Corporation, a British firm, has filed a court claim for £28,500 against the German freighter Arauca, claiming the amount is due for fuel oil supplied to other Hamburg American Line vessels prior to the outbreak of war. The total claims against the freighter are for £63,250, representing four court actions.
