PROTEST IGNORED
CAPTIVE NAZI SHIP AMERICAN ATTITUDE (Reed. Dec. 27, 3 p.m.) COLON, Dec. 26. Despite a German diplomatic protest the United States Army authorities in the Panama Canal zone have granted a clearance to the North German Lloyd liner Dusseldorf, of 4930 tons, which was recently captured by a British warship and yesterday commenced the transit of the canal.
