MASTERTON SHOPPING (Por Press Association.) MASTERTON, this day. Many Masterton retailers report the best business on Christmas Eve shopping night for several years. One departmental store reports record business, the takings showed an increase of 27A per cent compared with last year.
The usual Christmas spirit prevailed among shoppers, and the main street was thronged with a bright and happy crowd.
