CANADIAN FORCE

PRAISE BY MINISTER AIR OF EXPERIENCE FINE BODY OF MEN IMPRESSIVE DRILLING (Elec. Tel. Copyright—United Press Assn.) {British Official Wireless.) Reed. 2 p.m. RUGBY, Dec. 21. The Minister for War, Mr. L. HoreBelisha, to-day attended the first ceremonial parade in England of the Canadian force, lie afterwards inspected their barracks. After the visit Mr. Hore-Belisha said he had been most impressed. “I do not think that any finer body of men ever crossed the ocean,” ho said. “The drilling in formation is absolutely perfect. They are only just now collecting their equipment, but they seem to have been soldiers a very long time. “I hope the people of this country will give them all the hospitality possible. One must congratulate Canada on her expeditionary force and the officers on the brilliant organisation they have displayed.”
