SERVICE IN THE AIR

TORONTO SQUADRON ARMY CO-OPERATION (British Official Wireless.) Reed. 2 p.m. RUGBY, Dec. 21. The Canadian Minister of Defence, Mr. lan Mackenzie, announced in the course of a broadcast speech that No. ,110 City of Toronto '! Squadron—the oldest squadron of the auxiliary or non-permanent arm of the Royal Canadian Air Force, had been selected to be the first squadron of the Royal Canadian Air Force for service in the field with the First Canadian Division.

This squadron will act as an army co-operation unit and will be additional to the special Canadian squadron at present with the Royal Air Force.
