AUSTRALIAN PLANS FOREIGN TONGUES (British Official Wiroloss.) Reed. 9 a.m. RUGBY, Dec. 16. Commencing on Wednesday the Australian Broadcasting Commission will present daily shortwave world programmes on behalf of the Australian Minister qf Information. The service will be formally inaugurated by the Prime Minister of Australia, Mr R. G. Menzies. At the start there will bo programmes in English, Fiench, German and Spanish and later Italian, Dutch, Russian, Norvvegia n, Turkish and Arabic.
