FLOWER DISPLAY
AWAPUNI SCHOOL The second annual show of the Awapuni school sweet pea club was held recently. The judges were -Mesdames Brown and Woodrow. There was a wonderful display of flowers. The agricultural instructor, Mr. C. G. Calvert, was present. Awards were made as follows: — Posy (8 entries'): M. Owen, 1; G. Simmonds, 2; S. Walker, 3. Vase of Spring Flowers (13 entries): W. Bugden, 1; M. Owen, 2; T. Owen. 3 Bowl of Sweet Peas (13 entries),: M. Owen. 1; T. Owen, 2; T. Gedye, 3. Lady’s Buttonhole (9 entries): I. Whittington, 1; M. Owen, 2; G. Simmonds, 3.
