PHYSICAL WELFARE
WAIAPU COMMITTEE A district committee' under the Physical Welfare and Recreation Act, 1937, has been set lip for the Waiapu County, and the Minister of Internal Affairs, the Hon. W. E. Parry, has appointed the following as members. —Messrs. M. Hyland, H. Te Rapu, and D. W. W. Williams, representing the Waiapu County Council; Messrs. W. L. King, A. W. Kirk, W. Oates, P. Pewhalrangi, F. Porter, A. Reedy. V. G. H. Rickard, W. S. Thompson, and P. Whaipooti.
