The Kapuni was to have completed loading at Auckland to-day and is to sail to-morrow for Gisborne, being expected here on Monday morning. .The Kopara left Gisborne last night and was to load at Napier to-day for Portland and Auckland. The Pakura was to load at Wellington to-day and to-morrow for Napier and Gisborne. She is due here on Tuesday. The Wainui is to load at Dunedin on. Monday, at Oamaru and Timaru on Tuesday, at Lyttelton ou Wednesday, thence Wellington, and should arrive at; Gisborne on December 11. The Wainui's loading at South Island ports next week will be the last trip in the South Island ports-Gisborne-"Napier service before Christmas. The Totara was expected to have cleared Greymouth late yesterday with a cargo of .coal for discharge at Gisborne. The steamer is due here on Monday. NEW RUSSIAN SHIPYARD What, will be the largest shipbuilding and ship repair works in the northern part of the Soviet Union is under construction at Limenda. on Mikheikov Island, at the confluence of the Vychegda and Northern Dvina. The estimated cost of these works, which will be completed by 1942, is more than 32,000,000 roubles. An electric power station already has been built and the requisite plant is 'being assembled. During the course of tin's year a forge and four transformer sub-stations and a big factory kitchen will be put into operation. Houses for Die accommodation of the workers are being built.
