YOUNG FARMERS

TOLAGA BAY CLUB AN INTERESTING ADDRESS (Herald Correspondent-) The Tolaga Bay Young Farmers' Club held its monthly meeting in the Takapu Mail, when a good attendance was presided over by Mr. R. Robison. Sympathy was extended lo the president, Mr. Robison, sen., in his unfortunate accident, and the meeting wished him a speedy recovery.

After the usual business, Mr. S. H. Phillips, Gisborne, gave an interesting address on his trip abroad. His remarks on Germany and Poland were keenly followed, and questions were asked. On the motion of the chairman, a vote of thanks was passed to Mr. Phillips for his address. Mr. E. M. Bates, district organising secretary, was also thanked for introducing Mr. Phillips to the members.
