MEMORANDA

Attention is drawn to the advertisement on page 1 for the annual anniversary services of the Baptist Sunday School. The choir of scholars, assisted by members of the usual church choir, will render splendid numbers of festival music under the skilled direction of Mr. W. R. Kemp as conductor. Several individual items will be given. At the morning service the address will be given by Mrs. Captain Smith, of the Salvation Army, while the pastor, the Rev. E. W. Balls, will preach at the afternoon and evening sessions. In the afternoon lie will deliver an illustrated message on "Bottles" and at 7 p.m. the second of a new scries of talks on "Things Seen and Heard in the Holy Land—The Street Called Straight." The scholarsannual tea and concert will be held on Tuesday evening.

'Week-night meetings will be conducted in another public hall when subjects of great interest will be dealt with, some of these to be illustrated by lantern slides. A special feature will be "Wild Life in Dark Africa." Accompanying the speaker are Miss Stables as pianist and Mr. Mills, who will lead the song services, both from Auckland,
