KOPUAWHARA NEWS
(Herald Correspondent.) Mrs. S. Gibson, who has been away from No. 3 Camp for four months while her daughter Marian was receiving medical attention in the Wellington Hospital, returned home on Wednesday night. Mr. A. Brodie. of the Public Works Department office stall', has left to join the air force and will be stationed at Ohakea. Mrs. Jas. Kennedy, of No. 3 Camp, litis returned from Wellington. At a meeting of the Boy Scout Committee, held at the residence of Mrs. Gumming, the following were present: Mr. J. Hilliard. chairman, Mrs. Gumming, hon. secretary, Mrs. F. Pemberton, Mrs. E. Hunter, and Messrs. C. W. Corkin, W. Gumming and G. A. Read. The chief business consisted of a review of the financial position arid making further arrangements for the visit of the troop to Wellington. The boys probably will leave home on December 26. returning on January
