PEACE WITH HONOUR ALLIED TERMS ASKED I (Reed. Nov. 6, 9 a.m.) LONDON, Nov. 5. A meeting of laity of all Christian churches passed a resolution calling on the Government to state its peace terms and declaring that the war should be ended as speedily as possible compatible with honour. The resolution urged that a statement be issued concerning Britain s contribution, after consultation with France, towards a new national order ensuring international justice and security. Such a declaration should be sent to all Governments. The meeting decided to send a message to Christian leader* in Germany urging them to press for a conference in Germany. Copies of tlie resolution are being dispatched to members of the Cabinet, heads of the churches, President i Roosevelt and King Leopold of Bel-1 gium.
