Nov. 5. ; The Amsterdam correspondent of the Daily Telegraph says that the ■ police are investigating the alleged; smuggling of uniforms of Dutch sol-1 diers, postmen and railway into Germany. . i An arrested Dutchman, Gernt Albrink, was attempting to cross the j frontier at a lonely spot by car with j parcels of uniforms. Albrink, whose \ father is a member of the so-called j Provincial States for the Dutch Nazi j Party, worked in a garage in Ger- j many. 1 It is stated that large quantities oi j uniforms which can be used by spies j have already been smuggled to Germany. Clues are being followed up: in. Amsterdam and Rotterdam, where | further arrests are expected.
