SUNDAY NIGHT CONCERT (Hmild Correspondent,) At a rnc-etinj? held in the No. 3. Y.M.C.A., Kopuawharn, on. Tuesday night, to arrange further Sunday night concerts, Mr, G. A. Read occupied the chair and the following were present: Mesdames Birnie and Kennedy, and Messrs. B. Birnie, P. To Nga’io, D. Ross, R. Nathan and C. Smith’. It was decided that another concert siihtild be 1 1 c!ci on Sunday. November it), and that the piuccuci of the collection should be devoted to the assistance of youth organisations in the valley.
Christmas Tree For Children
A meeting of the Christmas Tree Committee was held in the school to make preliminary arrangements for the children’s Christmas tree party. Mr F. Pemberton occupied the chair and there were also present Mesdames Worsfold and Highet and Messrs. H. Taylor, secretary, A. Judd, E. Hunter, J. Elliot, D. Peryer, and G. Read. It was decided that the subscription list should be opened at once.
