INTER-HOUSE SPORTS

FIXTURE NEXT YEAR ENTRIES CLOSING EARLY An inter-house sports fixture will be conducted on the first Saturday in March of next year, and entries for the competitions will close on November 18, 1939, according to decisions made last evening at a public meeting sponsored by the Gisborne ThirtyThousand Club. The chairman was Mr. James Chrisp. It was reported that there would be at least 12 teams entering, and it was decided to limit the entries to teams representing business houses, but including those from Government departments and the hospital stall.

Lengthy discussion was heard on matters concerning marching and dressing

It was decided to call another meeting in mid-January to complete the arrangements
