MIDDL.E PARK STAKES (Reed. Nov. 2. 2.20 p.m.) LONDON, Nov. 1. The Middle Park Stakes run at Newmarket resulted: Djebel, 1; Tantmieux, 2; Godiva, 3 Twenty started. Won by two lengths and three-quarters of a length.
he had observed that one of the mole lights appeared to be definitely orange and that vapour always appeared ofl the Casflecliff beach at night time. The chief officer also gave corroborative evidence. Replying to Mr. Prendeville, he said there were no breakers or anything else to indicate they were so close inshore. The hearing is proceeding.
