WOOL COMMANDEER
N.Z. LOAN CO.'S STORE
The wool commandeer regulations as regards Gisborne wools are now practically finalised, and sheepfarmers in this district will be interested in the New Zealand Loan atid Mercantile Agency Company's announcement in connection with their Awaiuini road wool store.
This splendid building, designed and erected for Gisborne wool sales, was completed in 1922 and, up to the present, has not been used for this purpose. The appointment of Gisborne as a wool appraisement centre means that full use > can be made of this store, and it now becomes a valuable asset to this district.
The well lighted show floor is capable of displaying up to 3000 bales wool, whilst the ground floor has sufficient storage space for several housand bales. The store is equipped with the latest machinery for the efficient handling of wool, and full facilities for reclassing and binning will be available prior to the first valuation.
