LABOUR DAY BOWLS

PROGRESSIVE PAIRS TE KARAKA TOURNEY (Bl>ocml to till! Hni'ulil.) TE KARAKA, this day. The Labour Day bowling tournament drew a good attendance, there being 1G players, besides many ladies and new members who occupied the spare rinks.

Before commencing play the secretary reminded members that this season he hoped to see players make a point of being punctual. It was mentioned also that the New Zealand Bowling Association had made a definite rule in regard to dress to be worn on greens and bowlers were requested to conform to the rule.
