ORMOND PARTY
BRIDE-TO-BE HONOURED (Ileniltl CoiTcfiiionilent.) Last Friday evening Miss Ethel Harvey and her mother, Mrs. A. H. Jones, gave a delightful evening at the latter’s home in Ormond in honour of Miss Nancy McKay, whose marriage to Mr. A. W. Hardy takes place early next month. The party took the form of a miscellaneous green evening. An enjoyable time was spent with competitions and music.
Miss Jean Harvey presented the guest of honour with a bouquet to tone with her frock. Later Miss McKay, assisted by Mr. Hardy, opened her parcels, and Mr. Hardy thanked everyone in a suitable speech. Miss McKay was wearing a frock of cyclamen satin backed crepe with a short bolero and .a striped satin vest. Mrs. Jones chose a brown frock patterned in lemon tangerine and green tonings. while Miss Harvey wore a black frock with a floral bolero. Miss Jean Harvey chose a frock of red and black striped sheer and a spray of red roses to tone.
