YOUNG FARMERS’ BALL
CROWDED ATTENDANCE GAY THRONG OF DANCERS PATUTAHI SUCCESS (fli'i'iilil (’nrrespomlenl.) The Patutahi Hall was filled on Monday night with a throng of merry dance enthusiasts who attended the Young Farmers’ Club Ball. - Ideal weather conditions and the popularity of the function helped to make the dance a great success.
The hall was decorated with greenery and huge bowls of arum lilies. Mr. A. Pilkington’s orchestra provided the music.
Supper was served from long tables decorated with Iceland poppies and other spring blooms in pale pastel shades.
