MILITARY MEASURES DEFENCES OF BORDERS (Reed. Oct 19, 2.40 p.m.) LONDON, Oct. 18. The Istanbul correspondent of the Associated Press of Great Britain states that military measures in Turkey have been intensified, including the mobilisation of lorries and the recruiting of drivers and mechanics for the army reserves and also the dispatch of troops to the Russian Caucasus and the Bulgarian frontiers.
