LONDON EXPLANATION (Reed. Oct. 19, 2.50 p.m.) LONDON, Oct. 18. The India and Burma' Offices, and the Colonial Office have announced that all British subjects from the colonies and .British-protected persons who are in Britain are equally eligible for voluntary enlistment and for consideration of the grant of commissions in the forces as British subjects from the United Kingdom.
