BIG TYPES IN DEMAND Values for weaners slackened off a little at yesterday’s Matawehro stock saie. but there was a keen demand for all big pigs. There was a yarding of 90 pigs and the offering comprised mainly good types. The range of values was: Weaners, 16s to 18s; small slips, 15s to 20s: small stores, 22s to 325; large store, 40s to 525; porkers, 36s to 555. OPOSSUM SKINS Messrs. Dalgetv and Company report having offered 28,000 opossum skins at the final sale of the season held in Dunedin yesterday. There was a good clearance and values from the Gisborne district averaged 3s to 3s 9d. Seconds and thirds were -slightly easier, but better grades were firm on late rates
