Business on the Sydney Stock Exchange was rather active to-day, with prices tending higher for all favoured stocks. Coles, £3 5s 3d; Woolworlhs, Limited, £1 Is; Drug Houses. £1 ss: Australian Consolidated Industries. £1 16s 3d: Australian Consolidated Industries, contributing, 11s; Anthony Hordern, 13s 4d: Mort's Dock. 15s 3d; Newbold Brick, £1 8s: Dalgety and Company. £5 10s; Winchcombe. AKITIO BULL SALE AVERAGE OF 30« GNS At the annual sale of Akitio Aberdeen Angus bulls, offered on account of Mr. Frank Armstrong, Akitio, Dannevirk?, a total of 80 bulls was offered, and all were sold under the hammer. The sales totalled approximately 2470gn5., and averaged 30-Jgn.s. The whole of the offering was of two-year-olds and included a number by Mr. Armstrong’s latest imported bulls from Great Britain, Euxidor 7th and Event of Froxfield. The top price was lOOgns., for Joker of Akitio, sired by Peleus of Gwavas, and out of Citron of Akitio, the buyer being Mr. J. P. Tylee, of Makuri.
