LABOUR CARD EVENING .(Herald Convspmulctil.) The first of another series of flag five-hundred card evenings organised by the Makaraka branch of the New Zealand ..Labour Party was' held in the Makaraka Hall on Wednesday night and was well attended. Prize-winners were: —First table. — Mesdames F. Dunstnn and C. Owen, Messrs. Robinson and W. Dunstan. Ladies. —Mrs. Hcaslip, 1; Mrs. Ingram, 2. Gentlemen.—Mr. G. Robinson, 1: Mr. L. Ingram, 2. Envelope.—Mr. W. Dunstan. Those present included Mesdames J. J. Rogers, Ashdown, 11. Ingram, D. Weastall. F. Dunstan, Gazely, C. Owen Dick, E. Morris, and G. Hcaslip: Misses N. Rogers, W. Fenton and M. Rogers. Misses L. and N. Houghton and Messrs. Houghton and I’. Martin have returned from a visit to Tauranga.
