PERSONAL ITEMS Recent arrivals in the Kopuawhara e?mp have been Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Gibbons cud family from Hastings.— Mr. and Mrs. Powell have also taken up residence at No. 3 Camp. Mr. E. Cater has left to join the military forces in training at Trentham. He will be greatly missed from the various sports clubs of tVic valley, in which he took a leading part both as a player and as a member of committees. Mr. L. Burrows has left to undergo training with the ambulance division at Burnham. Canterbury. Mr. Jas. Kennedy, Y.M.C.secretary of No. 3 Camp, was called away suddenly last week-end to take charge of a new Y.M.C.A. hut at the Tren-tham military camp. It is expected that his absence will be only temporary.
