AMERICA AND CHILE (Reed. Oct. 5, 9 a.m.) WASHINGTON, Oct. 3. Further imprementing the policy of increasing Latin American trade during the war, the Secretary of State, Mr. Cordell Hull, anounced the intention of the U.S.A. to negotiate for a reciprocal trade treaty with Chile. He mentioned that particular consideration would be given to-agricul-tural products. In addition, the Import and Export Bank had completed arrangements for a loan of £1,000,000 to case commercial transactions.
