The Air Ministry announces that the object of a new defence regulation is to enable the- defence departments to recommend, the granting of commissions to, or allowing enlisting in His Majesty’s forces of neutral or Allied nationals possessing special qualifications. The contemplated regulations may c-arly be used to obtain the services Of Polish and other pilots and mechanics who wish to serve in the British forces, -but there is no present intention of forming a "foreign legion.” '
