NURSES’ CONFERENCE

PLANS CURTAILED (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The New Zealand Registered Nurses' Association conference, which was to have taken place in February 1040. has been postponed in its original form. A curtailment ol' plans was found necessary as overseas visitors will not be able to attend. A motion postponing the conference was passed with the approval of the Dominion executive committee at a meeting of the Arrangements Committee. Full details of the proposed business conference, lasting only two aays, will be announced later. Meanwhile, it •is advisable that all intending delegates and registered nurses wishing to attend to keep in close touch with the branch secretaries.
