In the Police Court this morning
Reginald Vermont! Parsons, Ormond, Was convicted and fined 10s and costs IPs when he appeared before Messrs. Chas. Matthews and A. A. Fraser, J.P.s, on a charge of failing to give the right of way to another vehicle at an intersection. Senior-Sergeant J. F. H. Maenamara, who conducted the prosecution, said that the defendant had come into collision with a vehicle driven by a man named Hawksworth, of Auckland, when crossing the intersection of Ormond road and Wi Pere street on August 18. A cyclist, Alfred Guy, was fined 10s and costs 10s for riding a bicycle at night without a light.
