GUARANTEE BY BRITAIN OPERABLE TO JUNE JO, 1940 ENTENSI()X PROVISION ( Indrpcmlcnt Calili 1 Kervieo.) (Reed. Sept. 2fi, noon.) LONDON, Sept. 25. An announcement has been made by the Parliamentary Secretary for Overseas Trade, Mr. R. S. Hudson, that the agreement entered into with the New Zealand Government under which Britain will guarantee exports to the Dominion up to a total of £4,000,000 will operate until June 30, 1940, with provision for an extension. The British Government’s liability will be limited to 75 per cent of each debt. The goods covered will be those wholly or partly produced in tlie United Kingdom in respect of which cleoosits have already been made in New Zealand.
