CITY CRICKET CLUB 19TH ANNUAL MEETING TWO SENIOR TEAM'S The 19th annual meeting of the City Cricket Club was held on Thursday evening. Mr. A. R. Baker presiding over a fair attendance of members. The election of officers resulted:— Patron, Mr. P. Bailey: president, Mr. A. R. Baker; vice-presidents, Messrs. W. Stewart, L. Cooper, C. Lord, E. File. R. H. Moore. R. Chalmers, F. C. Bennett. J. Henderson and C. Whiteley: delegates to the Poverty Bay Cricket Association, Messrs. W. Stewart, P. H. Dow. and M. G. Robinson: gear manager, Mr. M. G. Robinson: hon. secretary, Mr. J. K. Somervell; hon. auditor, Mr. M. Fry; official scorer, Mr. R. Green. The question of players who default in paying their subscriptions and then transfer to other clubs was discussed and it was resolved that the association be asked to act in this matter. It was decided to enter teams in both senior A and senior B grades of the locai competitions. Several players are needed to fill up the ranks, as is usual at this stage. The meeting closed with votes of thanks to the press, the ladies who dispense afternoon tea at the Oval, and to the chair.
