INDIAN PRINCE’S GIFT DONATION OF £375,000 (British Official Wireless.) Reed. 2 pan, RUGBY, Sept. 13. The chiefs of the Shan States, in northern Burma have passed unanimous resolutions renewing expressions of their traditional- devoted loyalty to Hi g Majesty and piacmg their services and resources unreservedly at His Majesty’s disposal. Britain has received numerous donations from Indian Princes, notably the Maharajah of Morvi of £375,000. The former Sheik of Shargah has offered the King every assistance within his powers for the purpose of securing victory.

His Majesty has gratefully acknowledged messages of loyalty from Dominica, the Virgin Islands, Barbados, Fiii, Gambia, the Windward Islands, the Bahamas, British Guiana, and Mauritius.
