german SCOUTER’S error RESCUE OF CREW (Reed. Sept. 14, 2.50 p.m.) BERLIN, Sept. 13. A German scouting plane shot down a Dutch Fokker by mistake off the island of Ameland, outside Dutch territorial waters.
The Germans rescued four member of the crew in a heavy sea. All weri slightly injured. One.was shot throug; the toe. ,
