Te Karaka Wedding

Markwich—Jones Charming* Bridal Frock A pretty wedding was solemnised at the Presbyterian Church, Te Karaka, on Saturday evening, when Amy Maud, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. M. Jones, Te Karaka, was married to Trevor Harold Markwich. The church had been attractively decorated with camellias, lilies, and sparia, and the Rev. A. H. Lennox performed the ceremony, while Miss Lena ' Ruru presided at the organ. Escorted by her father, the bride made a charming picture in her frock of ivory embossed georgette over satin. Her dainty embroiderer veil of tulle was held in place, wit! a wreath of orange blossom and sht carried a bouquet of white stock and asparagus fern. Miss Reta Jones, who attended he sister as bridesmaid, was .frocked i powder blue crepe-de-chino. A ha! of blue flowers and pleated ti'.B< was worn, and she carried a posy o polyanthus and asparagus fern. The bridegroom was .attended b; Mr. Lloyd Jones as best man. After the ceremony a 'deception was held at the home of the bride’;' parents, where jhe guests were received by Mrs. Jones, who was wear ing a frock of navy blue crepe-de chine relieved at the neck wit! touches' of white, and a navy hat t; match.
