DEATH AT 89 YEARS

ADMIRAL KIND-HA LI

(Elec. Tel. Copyright—United Press Assn.) (Reed. Sept. 11, 1.30 p.m.) LONDON, Sept. 10. The death is announced of Admiral Sir George Fowler King-Hall, aged 89 years. The late Admiral King-Hall entered the Navy in 18GB and attained the rank of captain fn 1894, He was commissioned at Wei-Hoi-Wci on its transference to the British Government in 1898. He was .successively Chief of Staff to the Admiral commanding the Mediterranean Station, and assistant to the Admiral commanding the reserve. He was appointed Admiral in 1912 and was Comj mander-in-Chief of the Australian station for three years before his [retirement in 1914.
