POPULARITY OF FLATS
* # Reference to the growing popularity of. flats as dwellings in large centres was made in the annual report of the Public Trust Office presented to the House of Representatives. This trend was shown in the increasing number of applications for loans on buildings designed for this class of residence. The loans on these and other urban securities were slightly in excess of loans on farms.
