A Maori girl, Sissie Naki, aged six, had a hand -severed 1 at Te Uku, Waikato. She caught her arm in the pulley of a milking machine on Mr. H. L. Sweetman’s farm, and the hand was torn off before the machine could be stopped. The child was admitted to-the"Waikato Hospital. Her condition is serihus.
