JUNIOR CLUB MATCH OLD BOYS A ASSISTED Marist .... 9 points Old Boys A .. <> The Marist club junior team won again on Saturday, their opponent this time being Old Boys A, who received assistance from players of other clubs in order to fill vacancies in their learn. For the winners, Murphy, Friar and Barry scored tries,, and for Old Boys A Glassford scored a try and White goaled a penally kick. The Marist backs were superior and put up a good display of penetrative attacking work, combined with a stubborn •defence. Their opponents were good in the forwards, but their back division was patchy, and did not reach the standard set by Marist. Mr. W. Wilkie was the referee.
