BRISBANE TOURNEY (Reed. September 4, 9 a.m.) BRISBANE, Sept. 2. Results in the croquet tournament were: — Doubles Championship.- —J. Thompson and partner, 26—24, defeated Bryant and Nicholson, 25 —24; Thompson and partner, 26—25, lost to Bryant and Nicholson, IG—26: R. W. McCreath and Palmer, 26, defeated Gambrill and Brown, 21. Singles.—Gambrill, 2G, defeated Brown, 9. Rose Bowl. -Griffin, won 26—5; R. W. McCreath, won 24—10; Brown, won 19—12. Fisher Trophy.— Pickard was beaten 2—26.
President's Trophy.—J. Thompson won 26—17.
