JAPAN AND EMPIRE OOUSUL-OENERAIi’S APPEAL (Reed. Sept. 4, 9 a.m.) SYDNEY, Sept. 3. The Consul-General for Japan in Australia,.Mr. M. Akiyama, commenting' on the crisis, said there was nothing in the present situation which, need disturb the good relations between Japan and Australia. “The European crisis seems to offer an opportunity for a better understanding between the British Empire and Japan,” he said.
